HeklaGrass is situated in the Southern part of Iceland, in the surroundings of the famous Mt. Hekla.  We have a long experience of producing hay and haylage for horses with qualified personel who understand the horses need.  Production of HeklaGrass takes place at Hjardartun were we breed our Icelandic horses, see further www.hjardartun.is.

We farm in a very fertile land in a clean and contamination free soil.  The area we use has been used for grass feed production since 1950.

HeklaGrass is made from specially selected ryegrass and timothy packed in bags of approximately 20 kg, based on the seasonal dry matter.
